An interior design studio specializing in bespoke hospitality and residential projects.
Founded in 2018, ARKAUNIS is an interior design practice based in Hong Kong.
With the intention of bringing hope and a good life to the users of our beautiful designs,
[ARK], as in Noah's Ark in the Genesis flood narrative in the Bible, was chosen as part of our brand name; and [KAUNIS], which means beautiful in Finnish, was also added.
Edwin Chow
From his years living in Japan as a student, Edwin was inspired early on to infuse
functionality, simplicity and minimalism into his designs.
He is now a seasoned designer with over thirteen years of experience in branding,
space design and project management under his belt.
In the Information Age in which we live, Edwin believes design is much more than following ideas off of Pinterest and other sources of inspirations-on-demand: he believes that a good design lies in the designer’s ability in combining aesthetics, brand characteristics and end user needs.
Edwin has been named one of the *Top 50 Designers* on Home Journal.
